There has been a relatively long running legal battle between the phone makers Apple, and Nokia. It all started back in 2007 when Nokia was wanting royalties from iPhone sales. Since, there has been litigation going back and forth betweent he smartphone companies. The latest comes from the UK, where Apple claims that Nokia is ingringing upon their patents. Mark Durrant, a Nokia spokesman had this to say, "This is an unsurprising development, which seems designed to put pressure on the ongoing dialogue between both companies" "It changes nothing in the fundamentals of the matter, which are rooted in Apple's refusal to respect Nokia's intellectual property and attempt to free-ride on the back of Nokia's innovation." If anyone is keeping tally of the wins and losses between the two companies, this dispute is definitely one to keep an eye on. http://www.mobiledia.com/news/74691.html Add as favourites (9) | Quote this article on your site | Views: 1297
