New firmware available for the N95 classic

There is a firmware update available for the original N95 (classic)... v21.0.016

This update is available to all N95 classics that are currently running on a "generic" product code - no details yet as to when the netorks will catch up though.. This new firmware update closes the gap again between the N95 and the N95 8Gb

* Improvement to SMS reception.

* Midlet installation improvement.
* Improvement to Java application start.
* Java midlet certificate checking improvement.

Navigation
* General improvements to Maps application.
* Localization correction to Search in Maps application.
* Improvement to Navigate To -function when started from search application.

SIM
* Contact names with accents and more than 11 characters can be copied to SIM card.

	If you need the latest N95 firmware, use Nemesis Software Suite, change the product code (I changed my product code to 0521637) which I'm given to understand is the product code for Vodafone France, with a Silver/Blue case, doesn't make any difference that my case is plum, latest update with Nokia Software Suite, latest version v21.0.016 improves the phone no end, hope this is of some help! 	you guys on t-mobile where nokia update says its upto date you need to unbrand your phone with nss and nokia updates but i do believe it may invalidate your warranty. I have done my n80 and n95 and they work sound just back up contacts etc Report

	if ur on t-mobile you really need to do the thing to change the code of ur phone. i know some people who did and they now have the new update and all of the new features. the camera is much faster and the phone works so much better without the t-mobile adapted firmware ie webnwalk branding, while still allowing access to all the services Report

	I've updated my N95 to firmware v21.0.016 The youtube video's are at such low fps. Plus the entire webbrowser of nokia freaks out. Probably cause of the cache. My ram is on 4mb afther 2 pages at the same moment. The reagular opera browser loads the cache on the sd card. Thats why my ram is always high. Opera mini de flash support doesn't work. But I didn't tried the regular opera browser. Due the backups that I made of my n95 + sd. Some application didn't work afther the update. Some of them were even removed. Report

	t-mobile are still on the first update and from what i gather from phone calls to them (the people there really have no clue) they dont intend to provide any further updates. Report
