Nokia N95

I am sure that many of you will have heard about Samir's (the author of RotateMe & Nokmote) application he is currently working on called "ShutUp!" - a way of making your N95 go silent by just turning it over (cancel an incoming call or the alarm)... Well Tong Ren over at www.symbianblog.com has beaten Samir to it by releasing the FREE "flipsilent" application.

Flipsilent works in just the same way as ShutUp! is supposed to work - flipping the N95 over (face down) will either put the N95 into Silent profile or hang up a call (or both) and it will also snooze the Alarm.

The application is fully configurable by an on-screen menu (pictured) and allows a great deal of control over the actions the application takes when you flip the phone and flip it back again.

As with Samir's applications you will need the N95 accelerometer plug-in installed on your N95 (available from our downlaods section).

I will be downloading the application later today and I will be adding it to the list of available apps that we can sign here at nokia-n95.net!

Signing is as per the usual "first come, first served" as we are limited by Symbian Signed as to how many we can sign in 24 hours.

	well, it is great but it changes the profile , which is not cool.  cannot it just silence the call with out changng the profile ? Report

	I have just downloaded this and installed it to my phone, just sign it yourself it is pretty easy. Anyway the app is great. Turn it over to quiet the phone or cut off the caller. Report

	works well to silence the call.. but doesnt snooze the alarm- as my missus will confirm!! Report

	I think this app will be great if it does the following:  1- Flip over to silence the call (without chaning the profile)  2- Shake the phone to reject the call. Report
