The excellent FlipSilent has been updated to v1.02 - My appologies if this news is a bit "old", I try to keep up with all the latest news on N95 software but this update slipped under my radar... To make amends I think we should take a closer look at FlipSilent, the new v1.02 release includes a lot of new configurations options and bug fixes... So read on if you want to learn more. So What is FlipSilent? For those of you who don't know - FlipSilent is a way of silencing your N95 by just fliping over (simple innit?). If your phone rings or the alarm goes off you just turn the phone over and place it screen-down on the desk / table to shut it up! The initial release was very good - but didn't give users a lot of options... But the new version is fully featured in the menu department and allow you to specify how the phone reacts to flips. For example - you can choose the change the profile to "Silent" when face down and then return it to the previous profile when you flip it back again, or you can now choose to hang up a call (or not) when the phone rings and you "flip" it. Below are some screenshots showing the various menus...
