Nokia N95

Google have finally finished their mobile Google Maps application for Symbian S60 devices - and what a sweet job they have done of it too! It features some very cool stuff - the most important being the use of the N95's internal GPS reciever (way to go Google!)

You can also add contacts directly from the GM application - You can mark a position as a contact and it will create a new contact on your phone with the address all ready filled in!

This version looks very much like the older GMaps application (which I think was Java?) but this runs way way faster because it is a true S60 application.

	The mapping is superb, of course, but there are two concerns. Fristly the results pages are not cannonical - so, for instance, if you search for a hotel, you might be adding the contact details of a hotel booking agency, not the hotel iteslef. (Users should also be prompted to chenge the name under which the contacts are saved, before committing to save.)    Also, there's no way, when using the GPS facility, to log a trail or a waypoint. 	is it just me or does this get a gps lock a million times faster than the nokia one? :S    Awsome software, thanks for the tip off :D Report
