Most people when receiving errors messages or crashes freak out because they don't know what's wrong with their phone. If this happens to you, take a deep breath. There's a chance nothing is wrong with the phone, but perhaps the memory card. Many times, simply defragging the memory card will solve the problem. Here are some simple steps to take when defragmenting a card: 1. First you'll want to download the Nokia PC suite. 2. Next, connect the phone with the card in it to the PC. 3. Upon connection, there should be a selection under "My Computer" for your Memory Card. Go ahead and click on it. 4. Right click on the card button, and select Properties. Then selectTools and there should be an option for 'Error-Checking'. The error checking process will start, which shouldn't take too long to complete. 5. Go back to tools again, there should be another option for 'Defragment Now'. There should be a prompt to get you started with the defragment process. Just be sure you select the SD card when asked.
