Nokia N95

A function that your Nokia n95 is capable of that you might not have known about is the ability to watch movies. Depending on the length of the movie, and the file size you'll be able to watch the movie. Here is a step by step instruction list to allow your phone to play movies.

What You'll Need:

 Nokia PC Suite

 DivX Mobile Player

When you have both Nokia PC Suite, and DivX Mobile Player downloaded you should begin the installation process. Once you have both files downloaded, you'll want to put the DivX Mobile Player onto your phone.

To do this,  right click on the Nokia PC Suite option in your toolbar. Select 'install applications'. Find the DivX Mobile Player program, and click on it. You should then be presented with an option to either install the program on your phone's memory or a memory card. You'll want to select the Phone's memory. If you get a failed message when installing DivX, there's  a quick fix...

If you're having problems installing, then get on your n95. Go under Applications, App Manager, options, and make sure you settings match this:

Software Installation: All

Online Certificate Check: Off

If you change those setting, then you'll want to switch them back after installing DivX for security purposes.

Next you'll want to find the DivX files themselves which can be found easily on the internet. The rest is rather simple. You'll want to use the Nokia PC suite again to transfer files to your phone from your computer. DivX allows for easy compression, so if you've installed the Mobile Player correctly you should be entirely setup for DivX viewing.
