Editing the theme of your Nokia n95 isn't a difficult task, you just have to know what tools you need along with some basic Photoshop skills. Just be sure you keep to these steps when creating a new theme. - First, you'll need the proper tools for creating your theme. Google for a program called 'Nokia Carbide', this allows you to actually customize the theme of your phone. Also, you need Photoshop, or another image editor. - First you need to find the images you want to use in the back ground of your theme. You'll need two images, one for your idle screen and the active screen. Make sure the images you use for the background are 240x320 pixels, or 320x320 for landscape view. - After installing Carbide, open the program. Select 'Create a new theme', then use the 'Base Graphics' option. - Your first step in Carbide will be to edit the background. From the 'Resources' tab, select 'Background'. Then select the grey rectangle up top. Then you should see an 'Active background' tab at the bottom of the screen, right click and select " Convert and edit in Bitmap Editor". Photoshop should then launch and you can then put your saved image into the background. Then click save. - Now it's time to edit the various parts of your phone to match the background. First is the navigation pane. Select 'Areas' in the Resources tab and then 'Status Area'. Then select the bottom image in the panel. Select the navi pane, and then 'Navi pane background'. Right click on the box, and then you edit and change what should now be a layer. This is where you'll the colors to match your background image.
